| MISFL - FL Expanding Foam |
|
There are two standard foams available on the market
today, one of which gives
a fire rating for the ‘surface
spread of flame’ only and one which offers a full
‘penetration seal’ for compartment walls. We are aware that
to the layman this
means little however to the occupant of
a building during a fully developed fire
the difference
becomes very apparent. As the use of these products tends
to be around the perimeter of door frames or sealing
services penetrating a
compartment wall. Which would
require full BS 476 part 20:22 penetration test
evidence,
which is the one on offer here.
Applications include:
Sealing around door and screen frames
Backfilling around non combustible service penetrations
Sealing irregular gaps |
