This product combines current practice together
with
fire
regulations excellently. The range is
available in off white or
mahogany and can easily
meet 30 minute fire rating* when
subjected to a
current BS 476 part 20:22 1987 test. The
product
lends itself to applications where limited space is
available. Uses include doors or screens offering
a wide

Therm 30 has been developed to provide
protection to the
glazing panel and timber beading.
A strip 10mm x 2mm
located between the glass
and timber beads provide the fire
resistant
protection within a FD30 or FD30S door*. Therm
30 is flexible but robust, it can be handled easily
without
becoming misshapen giving it excellent
qualities for use in
a modern joiners shop. The
material comes complete with a
high tack self
adhesive backing. Being fully water stable
allows
it to be used in high humidity areas such as
swimming pools, saunas etc. This product is
recommended
for doors only. |

Unlike its 30 minute counterpart this is a
phosphate based
intumescent encased in a PVC
sleeve. The system carries
enviable test evidence
for use on previously tested door
assemblies and
can be wholeheartedly recommended.
Tested to
BS 476 part 20:22 achieving well in excess of the
10% safety barrier. Coming in a range of colours
and
offering a slim 4mm sight line each side of the
glass, this
one is in our opinion one of the best 60
minute systems on
the market today. |

Pyroplex® Intumescent 60 minute Glazing System
comprises a ‘one piece’ glazing channel providing
a cost effective
solution.
It is suitable* for glazed
doors, screens and partitions and
incorporates its
own liner giving 60 minute* fire rating with
wired
glass or proprietary fire glass.
This is a new idea,
at the moment mostly used by the
manufacturers. |
